The Seventh Training

 

  The seventh training on chicken and pig rising to blind and visually impaired physically disabled people at COMPED HOME has started on 24.02.2014. Thanks to the donors Friedensdorf International and Thuringian Cambodian Society - TKG COMPED is able in the third year continue providing training on chicken and pig rising to blind and visually impaired physically disabled people at COMPED HOME.  
 
 
   
 
On 24 February 2014 COMPED-EDUCATION has started the seventh training for 18 Blind and visually impaired physically disabled people. They are 2xblind, 1xvisually impaired, 10xpolio and 5 physically disabled people, two of them are dependent on crutches and one is always in a wheelchair. They are from different provinces 4xKandal, 1x Kampong Cham, 1x Kampot, 5xPreyveng, 2xSvay Rieng, 1xTakeo, 1xKrate, 1xBattambang, 1xKampong Speu and 1xKampong Chnang.   
 
 
   
 
The training about chickens and pigs breeding are held by experts from CelAgrid and Building Self Confidence by Expert from NCDP. Orientation and Mobilization Training for blind is held by our COMPED social worker.   
 
   
 
After three days theoretical training on chicken breeding and pigs breeding all trainees will have two months the opportunities to practice their skill at COMPED HOME the agriculture vocational training centre. When the trainees come back home they will receive a small financial support as start capital for their own chicken or pig farm. The Orientation and Mobilization Training for blind will be also held by our COMPED social worker at their home and village.
