COMPED is a non-government organisation, established in year 2000 and officially registered at the Ministry of Interior in April 2003.

COMPED is currently seeking a Cambodian national to fill the following position: Project Manager based in Phnom Penh for God-parenthood and COMPED Home, which accommodate disable children  who are blind, partially sight and disadvantage children and provide education for them.

• Expected start date: June 01^st, 2010
• Salary range: $270 to $350
• Three-month probation period

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Visit 120 god-children in Phnom Penh and provinces such as Kandal, Kampong Speu, Svay Rieng, Takeo and Siem Reap at the regular basic of at least 2 to 3 times per year and prepare reports on progress of their studies and family situation and constraints and propose solution
•  Feasibility study for 20 new god-children
•  Arrange annual gathering of godchildren
•  Draft COMPED Home Profile with German volunteers
• Carry out meeting with the other organisations such as national disable program/government institutions for finding 20 persons
•  Manage the 20 disable person at COMPED Home
•  Prepare project planning and development
•  Prepare financial planning and budgeting
• Prepare regular field visit reports, quarterly and annual reports

REQUIREMENT

•  Bachelor degree in social science,Pedagogy or relevant fields
• At least 2 year relevant work experience
• Excellent spoken/written English

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of Khmer and English (write, speak, translate)
•  Leadership skill
•  Good knowledge of computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.

IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES

• Strong interest in education and livelihood developing and social environment
•  Pro-active, dynamic, hard-working, tolerant and responsible and positive attitude
•  Able to work independently with little supervision
•  Strong attitude and desire in learning to improve his/her skills and experience
